ADVANTAGES OF TELEGRAM OVER WHATSAPP AND OTHER SOCIAL APPS PART 2

 In my previous post , I started introducing the several advantages of using Telegram over whatsapp and even any other social apps. Today, I will go more indepth in this topic. I will take it as a continuation of the last post.

6. In-App Browser

Another thing so interesting on Telegram is its ability to open links inside the app without taking you out to open another application. To access this feature, ensure you have Chrome installed on your device. Click the link you want to open and select Chrome in the pop-up menu. Instead of opening Chrome app, it will open the page inside the Telegram. fantastic!

7. Security

Telegram uses MTproto protocol which is a type of server-client and client-to-client system of encryption to secure your conversation with your friend. It is a cloud-based type of encryption that even your ISP cannot decipher.

8. Editing Conversations

Any message you send on whatsapp cannot be edited. But on Telegram, instead of using comment to correct chats, you can simply press and hold and edit the chat no matter when you have sent it.

9. Send Message to Yourself

This is another interesting feature of Telegram. In fact, I have simply turn my telegram to Notebook or jotter because of this. Any message or file you want to keep, simply send it to yourself. You can access such messages offline and from any device anywhere thereafter. So, you can use this feature as a kind of online or cloud-base storage for yourself.

10. File Size

When it comes to the size of files you want to share, that is a big limitation on whatsapp. But on Telegram, no limit to the size of files you can share. Because of this advantage, many channels are on Telegram to share movies regardless of the sizes.
