Muhammad Sanusi II, emir of Kano, has been appointed as the new chancellor of the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
The Vice-Chancellor made it known at
the news briefing that preceeded the institution’s 41st Convocation and its 45th founder’s day Celebration on Monday. that the Ceremony would also feature the formal installation of AIhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, the Emir of kano, as the 9th Chancellor of the institution.
He said the new
chancellor would be installed on November 25, adding that Barth Nnaji,
former minister of power, will also deliver a convocation lecture at the
institution.
