SAUDI ARABIAN KING DIES AT 90

THE KING of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has died at age 90 according to reports by Saudi state television.
The king was admitted to hospital on December 31 after suffering from pneumonia. Although his condition reportedly improved a few days later, a presenter on Saudi state TV announced today that he had passed away while airing a video of worshippers at the Kaaba in Mecca.
He was reported to have had lung infection that necessitated the use of pipe for breathing.
He is to be succeeded by his 79-year-old half brother, Prince Salman.
