FOLORUNSHO ALAKIJA (PICTURED) NOW THE WORLD RICHEST BLACK WOMAN

Before this  time, Oprah Winfrey has been the one topping the list of World richest Black women. Meanwhile, the reports according to Forbes valued her worth at $2.9 billion.
However, the table has just been turned around. It is now the turn of a Nigerian. Folorunsho Alakija now takes the lead. Her worth was valued at $7.3 billion, wow!
Alakija started her career as a secretary in a bank in the mid 1970s, Alakija, 62, then studied fashion in London and returned to Nigeria to start a label, Supreme Stitches. But her biggest break came in oil.

She owns the prestigiuos  Famfa Oil, which later became OML 127, one of Nigeria's most prolific oil blocks.

The company owns a 60 per cent stake in the block, valued at around $7.3 billion.
