CUT OFF MARKS ARE OUT!!!

    It is for the interest of the ever enquiring public that efforts are being made to make known the cut-off mark or in better parlance, the minimum academic standard required of curious inquirers. THE CUT-OFF MARKS ARE OUT AND THE SCORE IS 520!

 This is an attempt at quoting Matthew 5 vs 20; '' Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and the pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven''. This is understandably the  minimum requirement or the cut-off mark as pegged by no less an authority than the Lord and owners of the Kingdom of the hereafter,  Jesus Christ the Messiah. If what He said is anything to go by, it follows first of all that ours must be a life of righteousness not mere religiosity,  for He says ''Your righteousness ...'' 
Secondly, it must be an experience that transcends plane of mere mental assent to the Truth as is typified by scribes and pharisees, to one of heart experience of the salvation experience; an outward life bearing witness of an inward grace and the resident Christ. ''Except your righteousness ...'' Do you call it righteousness to unashamedly live in fornication and idolatry? Dress provocatively and seductively? Cheat in the exam hall, swear, curse and belong to clandestine groups? Repent of your sins today, invite Jesus in and ask Him to help you, resolve to live for him daily as you read His word. Holy Spirit, not your power, will enable you live the life that equals if not exceed his minimum requirement (Zech. 4:6, Isa. 64:6).
