ZEISS LAUNCHES CATALOGUE OF NEW LENSES
Zeiss has launched an updated prescription catalogue, which contains product and sales information valuable during the dispensing process. The new catalogue includes all the product additions and lens solutions introduced in the last year, Zeiss Digital Lenses and the latest Zeiss Sport Lens portfolio expansion.
Following the range extension to the Zeiss Sport Lens portfolio and the introduction of a 1.67 index within the single vision material offering, the company announced a further extension, making all Zeiss progressive and Digital Sport Lenses available in a 1.67 hi-index material.
The addition was designed to provide practitioners with the ability to meet patient demand for more aesthetically pleasing and cosmetically appealing, thin and light lens options for high wrap frames.
Zeiss Sport Lenses with the freeform design, incorporate the specific frame wrap angle as a parameter for each individual lens design to compensate for aberrations, resulting in individual vision optimisation.
The new catalogue has been designed to allow practitioners to navigate and find all the information they need with ease, enabling dispensers to use it as a singular reference point and sales support aid to demonstrate the benefits of different lens designs to patients.
Carl Zeiss Vision marketing and communications director, Peter Robertson, said: “Taking into consideration our customers’ feedback, we also refreshed the content and created a new version for iPads, as more and more practitioners are using tablets during the dispensing process.”
